This five-day intensive workshop as part of the London International Mime Festival 2016 will provide a unique opportunity to dive into the world of Gecko, immersing participants in Amit Lahav’s creative process, his approach to physical theatre and devising for performance.

Artistic Director Amit will use ideas for Gecko’s next production as a starting point in developing skills and creativity, through dynamic physical theatre workshop sessions.

Using participants’ range of languages, storytelling, ensemble work and improvisation, the course will explore and create visceral, innovative movement and voice work, enriching each student’s own practice. Please be prepared for physical and emotional exertion throughout the week.

There are 20 places available by application, for those with at least 2 years professional experience in theatre or dance. Please send a CV with details of your physical theatre experience and why you would like to take part in the course, to by 1pm on Mon 7th December 2015.
