Education and outreach are key areas of Gecko’s work. We want to open the doors to our process as much as possible, and empower people from all around the world to learn, watch or participate in theatre.

Schools & Teachers

As a listed practitioner on various GCSE and A-Level syllabuses, we run devising workshops in schools and colleges and can also provide teacher training sessions.

Artist Development

We provide a broad range of training opportunities for artists at any stage of their career as either performers, makers or directors.

We run a wide range of outreach projects and have developed close relationships with external companies and charities.

Higher Education

We have developed unique working relationships with universities, introducing Gecko’s methodologies to degree courses around the world.

We lead workshops across the world, as part of our tours or bespoke residencies for schools or festivals abroad.

We host office placements throughout the year for those interested in pursuing or developing a career in the arts.

We have a wide range of resources and videos available for those who would like to learn more about the company and our shows.
