Gecko is an award-winning and critically-acclaimed physical theatre company, founded in 2001 by Artistic Director Amit Lahav. Gecko’s mission is to deepen human connection through physical, visual, visceral and ambitious performance and participation. In everything we do, we create opportunities for people to connect to our work and to each other.
Gecko is excited to be offering discounted educational workshops to all schools/colleges who make a group booking to see Kin at their local venue. This is the perfect opportunity to see our work live on stage and then delve deeper into our world.
Gecko is a recommended practitioner on various GCSE, A/AS Level and IB syllabuses and we are proud to attract a young and diverse audience to our shows. Our workshops give participants (Year 10 upwards) the chance to experience Gecko’s unique style of movement and physical theatre, as well as an opportunity to gain an insight into the creative processes Gecko uses when creating a show.
