Good Chance & Gecko are Hiring Workshop Assistants
Good Chance and Gecko are searching for TWO energetic, enthusiastic & confident Workshop Assistants to support our team in the delivery of a new large-scale, international, participatory theatre project with young people, exploring what sanctuary means today.
The Workshop Assistant role is a training and development role, open specifically to people from a refugee or asylum seeking background with lived experience of displacement.
We’re looking for TWO Workshop Assistants - one based in London, one based in Essex.
This is a unique chance to work alongside two internationally acclaimed theatre companies, and to develop your creative, workshop-leading and facilitation, and administrative skills!

DETAILS:
London Fee: £2,475 for 5 weeks work across June - September 2024
Essex Fee: £2,950 for 5.5 weeks work across June - September 2024
Travel expenses for any work required beyond the place you are based will be provided.
MANAGEMENT:
This position will be managed jointly by a Good Chance Producer and the Local Facilitator.
This will include setting objectives for the role, regular check ins, a midpoint review, an end of role review and reflections and feedback, plus wellbeing support as needed.
LOCATION:
The role will be required to be on-site at rehearsals (in London or Colchester) andperformances (London Liverpool Street station or Harwich Beach).
